More $$$ in your pocket! On January 1 our new family tax credits (yes we are cutting taxes again) came into effect. Parents of children under 6 will receive $160 each per month and then $60 month to age 18. In addition income splitting of up to $2000 and a $1000 increase to the childcare deduction. Its your money and we know you are in a better position to decide what your family priorities are. Unfortunately, the Trudeau Liberals well they dont agree. They believe that parents will spend tax cuts on beer, popcorn, and big-screen tvs. They would also cancel income splitting for seniors, which has saved seniors thousands. At the same time the Wynne Liberals at Queens Park are finding new ways everyday to take more out of your pockets. We believe in our parents and we support our seniors who have built this amazing country. Thats why we will continue to find ways to cut taxes and leave you with more of your money.
