More info on my credit card fraud.....the crims generate numbers and expiry dates, try them out for a small amount $9.95, if it works they use it till the card is shut down. They can manually enter the numbers in a store on the machines, as well as on the internet.....also types of cards, eg all NAB Velocity cards start with the same 8 numbers as do some visa debit cards.....so they only have to work out the other 8....and they use them where they arent asked for the 3 digit number on the back! So not surprising it happens a lot!!!! At least half my debt was actually declined by some banks so its now $2,000+....Bank dude said there is not much we the public can do to protect our cards.....sad state of affairs I reckon ๐
