More jocularity out of the mouth of Rush Anyone Got Some Oxy to Sell? Limbaugh. He recently called Pope Francis a Marxist. Or else someone got to him, he speculated. Oh. It seems the Pope criticized Saint Rayguns Trickle Down non-theory of economics, saying--Im paraphrasing--it put too much trust in greedy rich people to do the right thing. Which, as we all know, is EXACTLY what happened. I love the obviously clueless Limbaugh pontificating about how Pope Francis, a South American who spent much of his life working with and helping poor victims of greedy, avaricious wealthy corporations, must have been reached by leftists. You, mean, Rush that great commie pinko Jesus Christ? The Man who wrote in His best selling book how a society needs to feed the hungry--NOT look to cut $40 BILLION from Food Stamps--clothe the naked, shelter the homeless, NOT cause shelters to close due to decreases funding. And to take care of the elderly--NOT try to cut their SS and Meficaire. To care for the infirm, NOT the continue the nearly TWENTY YEAR LONG PERIOD OF CUTS to mental health programs and institutions. And THEN act STUNNED when some obviously mentally ill person grabs some guns and shoots up an elementary school or movie theatre. Yeah, Rush, that Jesus fella sure was a radical socialist and Marxist. He might have even qualified to meet Bill OReilleys socialist-communist label. But leave it to Limbaugh to call it like it is.
