More lessons from the front lines... If you continue to do whats right, whats wrong and whos wrong will eventually leave your life. Trying times are the worst times to quit trying. Constant complaining is the clearest sign youve lost your vision (and that goes for a church also). Walking away from your daily time with God assures a train wreck. Right when you think youve seen it all, someone you believed in proves you wrong. No matter what people do, God never fails you...NEVER! Faith works no matter how you feel, how gray the day, or how late the hour. Faith is not a feeling, its an unassailable belief in a trustworthy God. Youre not in a real trial until theres no way out but God. The church is the only army that shoots its own when theyre down. Conversely, the church is the MAIN reason for charity, giving, and hope in the world. Never underestimate what God can do with and through the person you least expect. If Satan cant defeat you, hell defeat somebody whose defeat he hopes will defeat you. Spiritual warfare is for keeps. Ministry is not for wimps, whiners, or wilters. Ministry is not a career choice. Ministries tough stuff: When you marry their loved ones, bury their dead, feed them the Word, hold their hand in the hospital, and counsel them through their darkest valleys, only to realize they walked away without a word. Ministries rewarding stuff: When you hear the words, My life was totally changed by Jesus in you! Failure is neither fatal nor final unless you quit. Perseverance is the simple resolve to put one foot in front of the other knowing that God is working in ways you cannot see.
