More local news on Buddy (the Beagle/Jack Russel mix) who was in the 11/4/13 Daily Chronicle today for DeKalb, IL. It said the search continues for the dog that ran away from an accident he was in October. The most recent sightings have been at the corner of Annie Glidden Rd. and Fairview and around the 7th St. and Fairview corner by the railroad tracks. Nestle has offered a $500 reward for the safe return of the dog. He was a rescue dog and lived in the wild before. He does not like to be touched so call police if you see him (815-748-8400) as they are aware there is a search going on for this animal. It sounds like as many as 30 people have been searching for this dog. I will continue to search as well tomorrow as I will be out of town today. Rick Beck, Shaun Beck and their dad are the owners of this dog. This dog has to feel anxious and vulnerable not being with his family. Please keep your eyes open for this dog so he can return home. Buddy weighs about 30 lbs. and had on a light blue collar when he ran away. I still think a TV station would be a big help in helping to get the word out about this dog so he could be found. Please share this update on Buddy with anyone you know iin the DeKalb IL area so there will be more people looking for him. Buddy may be lighter than 30 lbs. now that he is on his own. Lets try to bring this dog home soon in good shape.
