More on Merlin the kitty.....our city declared a state of emergency. No Salt. So, if you were not having to be on the roads, stay off of them. I have an appointment with my vet at 2pm to have Merlin looked over. I am way nervous as to what he is going to tell me about him. Surely, whomever had him before I rescued him, over fed him too much. I cannot believe how much. Bri was looking on the computer today and he said he found that overweight cats like Mer, can develop fatty liver disorder. I regret I am not loaded with thousands. Depending on what this will cost, I am going to have to make a choice probably and that makes me want to lie down and cry. I under no circumstances, want to lose this love bug. But, if it is going to be in the thousands to fix him....I regret, seriously regret....that I do not have thousands. So, please keep praying we can fix my Merlin...who in 5 short weeks, has my heart and love. I dont want to put him down. I am going to be one crying, babbling fool if this happens. I will be beyond sad and unconsolable. I perhaps should have wondered....why he was not eating. I got told...sometimes it takes a while for a cat to adjust. Also, change his food. I did everything except spout nickels from my mouth for this cat. And I adore him.....and now, I have to go cry more. Please pray. Its all we can do.
