More on the decision today in regards to the judge in the Adrian Peterson case: A visiting judge denied the motion by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office to have Ninth District Court Judge Kelly Case removed from the Adrian Peterson case. The DA’s office claimed Judge Case would not be able to be fair, based on a bias he has and negative comments he’s made about DA Brett Ligon. The DA’s office two weeks ago did file a motion to revoke Peterson’s bond, based on alleged comments he made at the courthouse about using marijuana. The decision is up to Judge Case as to whether any action will be taken on that matter. A pre-trial hearing is set for next month. A trial date has been tentatively set for December first. Peterson was indicted by a Montgomery County Grand jury in September on charges of injury to a child, stemming from disciplining his son by allegedly using a switch.
