More pictures from Draper. I stopped to speak to this mule. She is a beauty. She kept trying to communicate with me. She put her head through the gate and over the gate. She wanted me to stay with her. The funny thing is when I went in the counry store and asked about her. The owner told me that Lacey, the mule, is mad at her, the owner. When Karen, the owner, goes out there the mule turns her back on her. Karen tries to persuade Lacy with an apple, Lacy will take the apple but then turns her back against her owner again. Karen says she doesnt know why Lacey is mad but it could be that they took her away from her family to be trained. Mules are smart. I love mules but I doubt I could get one to do anything it didnt want to do. I also love to stop at Brysons General Store. Last time I was there I came home with a load of Skunk furs. And sure enough, noone has bought any of them yet. But everyone admires them.
