More prep today for the Thoreau-Wabanaki trip, making a list and checking it twice... lots of logistics with a group that starts at fourteen and swells back and forth from there to 24. We will be flying, and driving people in and out on a fairly regular basis. Food drops and trips in to retrieve data cards and check on batteries etc. also need to be coordinated. Thank goodness for the backcountry flying of Katahdin Air. A trip of fourteen or fifteen days will test your skill and metal. We meet with Kevin Slater of Mahoosuc Guide Service tomorrow to confirm the final plans, have Thursday to do any last minute scrambling and Friday morning the fun begins! Cant wait. #150Thoreau
