More progress with Caira :) At her appointment today we learned that in the year Caira has had her feeding tube removed shes gained half a stone and grown another 1.5cm since June! Woohoo! All her own hard work eating and drinking by herself!! The hole in her stomach is still not healed but she can finally get it stitched during another ear operation due in December. Will be so glad to see the back of bandages and dressings once its all over!! Back on the boat on Sunday for her next MRI with her neck. Really nervous but weve just got to do this. We have a special plan between myself and specialists to help her feel as little anxiety as possible for the whole trip :) Fingers crossed for plenty resolved issues in the remainder of the year! Some of her other procedures are still gonna roll into 2015 but were ticking them off the list slowly but surely. If we can finally get hole in her stomach fixed I will be absolutely over the moon!!!
