More puppy pictures, please come give them a home, thanks. :) PLEASE HELP OUR PUPPIES - Angelina, Jennifer, Julia and Johnny Depp A woman found these precious pups by the side of the road outside of the Chapa-De Indian Health Center on November 1st . At six weeks old they had been dumped by someone. Upon arrival at the shelter they were sick, starving and dehydrated so we immediately took them to Brighton Greens Veterinary Hospital. They had parvo, a deadly virus that attacks the immune system in young puppies with underdeveloped immune systems. Without veterinary care the animal will surely die. Much to our surprise all of these pups survived. We were surprised because they were all so skinny and dehydrated and uncared for that we didnt think they could withstand this disease, even with veterinary care. They fooled us all and recovered. Even after recovery from parvo they continues to have chronic diarrhea. They were diagnosed with giardia; a parasite which is often gotten by drinking contaminated water. They were treated for this and now are happy health puppies and will be spayed/neutered this week and put up for adoption. Although they must be from the same litter, three of them look like pitbull mixes and one is significantly smaller and looks like a chihuahua mix. As you can imagine getting these pups into a healthy condition wasnt an inexpensive venture, but it was worth it when we see these happy little pups (one male and three females) run and play. Its hard to believe they are the same pups. Please donate to their health fund if you can! You can send a check to Sammies Friends, 14647 Mc Courtney Road, Grass Valley, Ca 95949 or go to website sammiesfriends.org and donate through paypal.
