More showers and storms are in the forecast again today. Severe weather looks unlikely, but the strongest storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall, frequent lightning and some gusty wind. The chance for rain today is 50%. We’ll be warm and humid outside of the storms with highs in the upper 80s. A few showers remain possible tonight. Lows will be in the low 70s. Expect more of the same tomorrow…scattered showers and storms around with highs in the upper 80s. A weak cold front will push through the area on Thursday. It won’t bring in any cooler weather, but drier air will arrive behind the front and shut down the rain chances briefly. With sunnier skies expected the end of the week we will get hotter with highs in the low 90s. Shower and storm chances return over the weekend, but it isn’t looking like a washout. We’ll stay hot and humid with highs primarily in the low 90s
