More staffing news! The Rev. Canon Joan Anthony has been called to serve as Canon for Special Projects Joan recently retired from her position as Canon to the Ordinary of the Diocese of Olympia, but she has much to offer still given her great wisdom and experience. We are delighted that she has accepted the call to serve as Cathedral Canon for Special Projects, a grant-funded position designed to provide cathedral resources to congregations across the diocese. Projects will be identified in consultation with Bishop Rickel, and Saint Marks stands to benefit in this venture-in the connections made with other congregations, in what we stand to learn from them and their best practices, and by the very gift of having Joan Anthony in our midst as a resource for the cathedral as well.
