More than 10,500 doctors from 70 countries will graduate in Cuba this year AIN-more than ten thousand 500 students will receive their titles of Doctor in medicine at Cuban universities, according to data provided to the Granma newspaper by an official of the Ministry of public health (MINSAP). The graduations of the medical sciences will take place in the various provinces of the country between 19 and 27 July next. They are: Bolivia, 855; Ecuador, 718; Mexico, 444; Argentina, 387; El Salvador, 386; Guyana, 280; Timor Leste, 194; 101, 118, Angola and China, said Knight González. He added that the total number of graduates this year, in all races that include medical sciences, rises to 29 thousand 712. Of these, 24 thousand 692 are Cuban and five thousand other Nations 020. He stressed that the new health specialists are young characterized by its high scientific level and a social projection beside the poorest of the world. Medical Sciences include medicine, Stomatology, degree in nursing, psychology and health technology, the latter with 21 profiles in the new model of training. In addition, they graduate in eight races of wide profile graduates in bioanalysis clinical, hygiene and epidemiology, imaging and Radiophysics, Logofonoaudiologia, nutrition, optometry and optics, health rehabilitation and health information system. From 1961 until the 2012 total more than 124 700 Cuban doctors trained in the universities of the island.
