More than 1600 enjoy THE BLOCKBUSTER LEGO RACING EXHIBITION HE Ipswich Art Gallery has reopened after the Christmas closure period with record crowds attending the popular Built for Speed interactive exhibition. On one day alone, the gallery had more than 1600 visitors through the door to enjoy the blockbuster Lego racing exhibition. Councillor Charlie Pisasale said the Built for Speed exhibition was back by popular demand and had even more Lego and bigger ramps for those turbocharged designs. This special exhibition offers the chance for children to design, build and race their own Lego hot rod, dragster or supercar down racing ramps or slick jump tracks, he said. As part of the exhibition in February, the gallery will also be running specialised Built for Speed Baby and Toddler Sessions. For more information visit ipswichartgallery.qld.gov.au.
