More than 2.8 million children in Syria are no longer able to go - TopicsExpress

More than 2.8 million children in Syria are no longer able to go to school as a result of the ongoing conflict in the country. Many children have been forced to flee their homes in search of safety, constantly moving in the country with little prospect for stability. This is having a detrimental effect, not just on their development and education - but on their future too. Which is why Hand in Hand for Syria have teamed up with our partner ShelterBox to distribute school supplies to schools that are still operating in the country. Not only does this provide children with the tools they need to continue their education and enable them to look forward to a better future, it also provides them with a positive distraction from the difficult realities they face whilst living in a war zone.
