More than 5,000 of you responded to last month’s issue survey, - TopicsExpress

More than 5,000 of you responded to last month’s issue survey, and I enjoyed reading through your comments and ideas. Here’s what some of you had to say: “Climate change can become the impetus for new technology and new economic growth... The question is not if we have the power to rise to this challenge, but if we have the will” -Joan M. “Nothing will ever change unless we get meaningful, comprehensive campaign reform” -Joe D. “Congress should make sure every American has the right to vote” -Jacquelyn F. I couldn’t agree more. And I know that the clock is ticking. We’re a month closer to Election Day, but thanks to Congressional Republicans, we’re no closer to making headway on many of the issues that matter to middle class families -- issues like growing the economy, making college more affordable, and fixing our broken campaign finance system. I want to hear your thoughts on what Congress should be doing. Click here to complete our issue survey. It’s frustrating to see so many problems go unaddressed just because the Tea Party has engulfed the GOP. But unlike the Tea Party, I’m not going to stop listening to other people’s ideas -- and I’ll never stop fighting for families in South Florida. Congress needs your ideas -- fill out our issue survey and let me know what’s on your mind. Thanks for staying involved, engaged, and active.
