More than 80 teachers (including WHHS teacher Mrs. Poffenberger shown below) community members and students (like the ones from WHHS and Haley in these photos) are getting their heads shaved today at the first Westie Day of Hope at West Haven High School to fundraise for Camp Rising Sun. The event continues until 4 p.m. with great food, snacks, games and activities from our food services program and school and community clubs and organizations. Thank you to everyone who stepped up to have their heads shaved, to the barbers and stylists who volunteered their time to help with the effort, and to all who donated and came out to support Camp Rising Sun today!
