More than the brunt of Financial Burden of therapeutic recovery by female athletes. The #LegendsFootball League is the womens version of NFL. They do play in costumes (lingerie). Disclosure time! JH is non affiliated with them in any way but its worthwhile noting the similar predicament in most womens sports. 1: They probably arent paid as well as mens sports supply vs demand I guess, and it is a catch 22 situation. Imagine if NFL guys have to play in G-strings.... hmmm. 2: Are they insured as well as men? Do they have Wellness Officers looking out for them as in #AFL? 3: Both in Sport and Business, they seem to have a tougher time and the obstacles are bigger both in perception of personality and sporting delivery. And as a consequence of that, do they make different or more risky choices in their athletic career or endeavour? Or are their athletic career generally abruptly shortened due to lack of funding? I like the video interview below. It tells about how the girls work hard at their game, how they have admitted to using lingerie (I dont know what the big fuss is about here. #Crossfit females do wear very little as well. Sponsors may not have enough space to print their logos on their bras and tights) as a marketing PR and how they, like the men, will use helmets as a tool of aggression. Most importantly, how they, unlike the Men, arent well insured. But are they tough, yep, they sure are. Are they fast and strong, yep, they sure are. Do they avoid rehab like men. Uhm Hmmm.... maybe even more so. Factoring pain tolerance levels, income, time, mentality, etc. So heres an interview about the sport culture and personalities involved in it. Oh, the local team, the @Victoria Maidens are playing in the Legends. Wish them luck! bit.ly/1uuHLAa For those of you in corporate or just in the workforce and experience gender bias and will like to read further ( Id encourage both males and females to read it), this is a study from Yale, written in the Scientific American about it: bit.ly/1uuHME8 And another written for Fortune that expounds a little on the personality assassination that is given as if it belongs in the critical and constructive feedback box. bit.ly/1uuI9P7 Polling now: whats your experience as an administrator, coach, female athlete in sport?
