More than three months after the exchanges launched, we still don’t know how many Americans are enrolled, nor if the administration has adequately addressed the threat of identity theft. The testimony from online security experts we heard today in House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology did not give me much assurance the threat is gone. Passed today, the Exchange Information Disclosure Act (H.R. 3362) would require HHS to provide health consumers and Congress weekly reports on the status of HealthCare.gov. American consumers deserve answers.
