More times than not, I really try to be entertaining on here. Every once in a while, you may even see a rant, but rarely do I implore my friends to take action about something that can directly affect my family, our friends, our livelihood. Again, I cant stress to you enough all that can happen if our rescue helicopter, a lifesaving unit that Ive seen several times rescue valuable lives, is relocated. This is not about politics for me. This is about keeping our lifesaving resources here and readily available for those who need it most. We live on the coast, for crying out loud! Just this weekend 5 people were rescued off a rock after the tide came in rather quickly. Over an hour response is not realistic- and if you think it is, I invite you to hang out on that same rock, or better yet, cling to a sinking vessel and let me know how hour plus response time works out for you. Please, I have lots of friends on here from all over- I need every single one of you to sign and share this. My husband and our friends will start crab season the day our helo is scheduled to be removed.
