Moree Plains Shire Council Section 94A Development Contributions - TopicsExpress

Moree Plains Shire Council Section 94A Development Contributions Plan Moree Plains Shire Council originally endorsed the Moree Plains Shire Council Section 94A Development Contributions Plan on 5 May 2006 pursuant to clause 31 of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000. The existing Contribution Plan operates to authorize Council to impose, as a condition of consent, a requirement under s94A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979 that the applicant pay a levy of the percentage, authorized by the contributions plan, of the proposed cost of carrying out the development. Council has resolved to publicly exhibit proposed amendments to the Section 94A Development Contributions Plan as the items listed in the current plan’s Works Schedule are almost completed. The proposed Section 94A Development Contributions Plan, which will supersede the existing Section 94A Development Contributions Plan, includes an updated Works Schedule. The principle amendments to the Works Schedule include the completion of public toilets, shared pathways providing residents with a safe connection to services and open space facilities and some embellishments to these open spaces. Council’s Moree Shared Pathways Plan 2013-2023 is currently on exhibition and works will be partly funded by Roads and Maritime Services. The proposed Section 94A Development Contributions Plan, with the amended Works Schedule, may be inspected at Council’s office, Level 2, Max Centre, 30 Heber Street Moree during normal office hours or on Council’s website (See link below) from Tuesday 20th August 2013 to Wednesday 18th September 2013.
