Mornin Darklings, A big thank you to those that came to OAD last night. I hope you enjoyed it, especially those that came from far afield to attend ! There were some technical issues with both the lighting in the room and the air conditioning, due to the storms that had caused some damage to electrical systems in the surrounding area, but hopefully it didnt spoil your enjoyment too much. Thanks to Sam and the gang for running the desk, and to Richard and Simon (Symix) for their guest DJ sets. For me Symixs DJ set was the highlight of the night, even more so because it was his first time as a guest DJ at OAD ... you will certainly be asked to DJ again ! Having guest DJs can produce mixed results. Some are not always to peoples taste, but I persevere with them because they do add an extra dynamic to the nights and stops them becoming too samey, which might happen if I was to provide all the music every month (it also gives me a rest too, lol !) Hopefully see you all again on the 16th August. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday ! :) x
