Mornin all. MAM here...... Although Im away Ive been keeping a close eye on that Ralfi, him and the Chus are in good hands at home with auntie Yvonne. During this last week, youve all done RALFIS Rain Rescue appeal proud. Not everyone is in a position to donate, and we understand that, but you support RALFI and Rain in other ways and that is heartwarming to see. Wouldnt it be good if we could have a national animals in need week like children in Need. So many rescues and animal charities are folding under the pressure... The money thats been donated will be used to help more of Ralfis friends get treatment they need. Some of you know that Ive acquired a title...Cat coordinator........ Dealing with the HOMEFINDER forms, arranging viewings and in general being involved with cats.....strange really as Im also a dog fosterer when needed in an emergency..but I must say I do love cats too. We are inundated with homeless and abandoned cats and dogs, every day phone calls about another stray or ill animal..whilst we want to take them all space and funds prevent us. Very sad affair. But with your help we can continue to help the lucky few.... Last but not least, I would like to say a really BIG THANK YOU to NANCY BLAKSTAD in the USA, for all her fancy artwork on the posters, and helping Ralfi post them in my absence...hope Thanksgiving was good Nancy and the ice is melting... Nancy is involved in Animal rescue and foster in the states, but has found time to help us here in South Yorkshire.... Fabulous.......
