Mornin peeps! Im so pleased to report that, together with my youngest daughter Sophie, I finally made it down to Leisure@Cheltenham last Sunday morning, to watch the Cheltenham Saracens Powerchair Football Club training session, and I must say what a fabulous time we had too, thank you so much to everyone for making us feel so welcome! It was brilliant meeting the participants and witnessing first hand the joy on their faces! And we couldnt have timed our visit any better, as we also got to meet fellow DGBiC members John Hawkins, his lovely wife Shirley, plus Carol Mary Berry Ogden! Also had the pleasure of meeting Pauline Clark, one of the mums, as well as Dave Bath, who together with Pauline, are key members of the fundraising team. Daves son is also involved, and is currently training to be a powerchair football coach. It was so lovely meeting them all, and it was great meeting some of the coaches too; Rowland and Keith together with Brian Dix, who is also Chairman of the club.
