Morning - later on today about half past one me and Karen Hughes set off to Inverness to get ready for the Loch Ness Marathon tomorrow . I want to say a big thank you to my cousin Jamie Rodgers and his wife Allison Rodgers for kindly putting us up . The reason I put my self through this now for the 27th race ,its not for a time , I could come in dead last and I have once or twice in other shorter races I have done . I run because its my connection with alexis rose our daughter ,when I run I honestly feel like she with me ,I feel its my special time with alexis and to be honest I feel everyone that has been affected meningitis are with me and that how I will never fail at this ever ! Bring it on ! Ps big thank you to my wee cousin Peter Hutchison and his girlfriend for coming up to support us to !
