Morning All. Over the weekend some not so nice person decided help themselves to our flowering plants in our window boxes and have ripped them all to pieces. One was hanging off the wall. An elderly customer popped in to tell me she witnessed the woman helping herself but didnt want to approach her as she didnt feel safe to do so. The reason we have window boxes and hanging baskets is to cheer the street up as Newmilns isnt always the most pleasant place to look at, not for random passers by to rip them out at thier leisure. The plants a boxes cost over £100 when we installed and planted them, and we will now have to replace the majority of them. Please leave them alone and enjoy from a distance. We have plenty of flowers in the shop for customer to buy.
