Morning Devotional for March 18 GODS POWERFUL RESOURCES 2 Kings 6:16 (HCSB) Dont be afraid, for those who are with us outnumber those who are with them. Psalm 119:154 (GNT) Defend my cause, and set me free; save me, as you have promised. The king of Aram was angry because the prophet Elisha kept foiling his plans. He sent his forces to capture Elisha. When Elishas servant saw what was happening, he was thoroughly frightened. Elisha prayed that the servants eyes would be opened to what was happening spiritually so that he could see that they were not alone. Gods mighty forces protected them. Today you may feel like Elishas servant-overwhelmed with the problems that confront you. However, God is on your side, and his powerful resources are encamped around you. Ask him to open your eyes so that you may behold the mighty power he has prepared for your defense. Dear God, help me to see your active defense on my behalf. Thank you for being on my side. I never need to fear. Amen.
