Morning Family THANKFUL !! Philippians 3:12 I press on, that I may lay hold of that which Christ Jesus had also laid hold of me. When my sons were smaller and even when I have my grandson and we cross a busy street I immediately say hold my hand, and they would hold on as tightly as they could. I would never depend on their grasp.It was my grasp on their hand that would hold them and keep them secure. So Paul insists, Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me(Philippians 3:12). Or more exactly, Christ has a hold on me/us! One thing is certain family: It is NOT our grip on God that keeps us safe, but the power of Jesus grasp. NO ONE can take us out of His grasp not the devil, not ourselves. Once were in His hands, He will not let go. We have the assurance: I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father(God), who has given them to Me(Jesus), is greater than all; and NO ONE is able to snatch them out of My Fathers hand(John 10:28-29). Doubly safe: Our Father on one side and our Lord and Savior on the other, clasping us like viselike grips. Remember these are the very hands the shaped the mountains and oceans and flung the stars into space. NOTHING in this life or even the nextshall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord(Romans 8:39). Iam so THANKFUL for Jesus nail pierced hands that reached out in love and took not only my hand,but all of ours. He has led us by His right hand throughout our lives. He has led us safely throughout each of our lives. We can trust Him to continue to hold us and keep us safe
