Morning......Id like to put three things on the table. One is directly food related the other not so much, but still an impact on families. First, Id like to put it out there that those who can do a barge order, see if they can afford to bring up a bit extra to give out in their communities...soup mix, tang, coffee mate, rice etc. Secondly, how about a food buying club? There are places (I only know the Toronto area) where you can buy 50lb bags of flour, oats, rice, chocolate, etc if communities got together to order and have it shipped up on the barge, this might result in better affordability. Finally....this one is not so much food related but would directly impact so many families------cloth diapers and breast feeding. If more families would make that switch the result would be two fold--healthier babies, less land fill, and more money to buy food/gas/ammunition/honda parts etc. Have a fabulous Sunday.
