Morning Inspirations Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Peter 1:4) Good morning FBF!! Oh, the promises of God!! He has given so many promises to the body of Christ, which the ultimate one is living for eternity with our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The apostle Peter emphasizes that these promises are more than great, they are “exceeding great!” The promises are greater than anything we could imagine! By knowing and understanding that these promises can be ours if we repent of our sins, accept the Lord Jesus Christ, and the blood He shed on the cross, we should diligently live a godly life in this present evil world! The Holy Ghost was given to the body of Christ, enabling us to be partakers of the divine nature, by delivering us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of God’s dear Son Jesus Christ! Don’t you know the coming of the Holy Ghost was a promise to the church?! Why would anyone want to live according to the “weak and beggarly elements” of this world, after tasting of the goodness of the heavenly kingdom?! O taste and see that the Lord is good!! Blessed is the man that trusts in Him!! Turn back, if you enjoy being bound again by the lust of this world!! But remember, this world will pass away, and everything that it holds so dear!!
