Morning Meditation Focus: breathing Duration: 15 minutes 1. Lie down or sit in a comfortable position. Loosen any tight areas of clothing so blood flow is not restricted. 2. Place your hands, palms up, right over left on your stomach or in your lap. 3. Have your legs straight or, if sitting, bent at a comfortable angle so your feet rest flat on floor... make sure you take your shoes off. 4. Tuck your chin back enough to feel your spine stretch a bit but still be comfortable. 5. Close your eyes and just relax. Be conscious of your breathing. Breathe in through your nose until your lungs are full. Purse your lips and breathe out until you have expelled all the air. 6. While attending to breathing, count backwards from 100. If yoi fall asleep dont worry. Set an alarm for 15 minutes.
