Morning Meditation: Read Prayerfully for tears will flow.... There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend. One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she could see everything, including her boyfriend. Her boyfriend asked her, “now that you can see the world, will you marry me?” The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend was blind too, and refused to marry him. Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying: “Just take care of my eyes dear..... After reading this story, in our Spiritual walk, are we guilty of treating Christ as this girlfriend treated her boyfriend? it breaks my heart to say that YES, I am SHAMEFULLY GUILTY! All I can think of is God sacrificing whats of necessity for Him, that I may gain what is of necessity for me. All is done in order to secure my commitment & love for Him, yet I reject His love but desire to hold on to the blessing & instead of Him retaliating, He allows me to keep the blessings but He walks away with scars. if this doesnt convict your heart, then I dont know what will. My Lord, thank you for always revealing unto me just who I really am when my character is compared to that of the perfection of Yours! Create in me a CLEAN HEART & RENEW A RIGHT SPIRIT WITHIN ME that I may not misuse You. Without Your help, my intentions, my motives, my everything will never be pure. BUT I praise God that Your Word says that with Christ all things are possible. in Jesus name, amen.
