Morning Munchkins.Still very dark,and the brain just cant seem to adjust.It keeps telling you that you should still be in bed. One of those mornings where its been really busy.The second i opened the door customers have been coming in.So im bagging up rolls,trying to get stuff out the van as well as being at the checkout (mrs doesnt come in till 9.30),and this guy walks in.I can see straight away that hes foreign..French maybe,possibly Italian.Hes wearing a tweed jacket with a yellow golf jumper,fancy trousers and a bunnet.But not your old man type bumnet,it was a white designer type.Obviously not a local.The locals have a cant be arsed type of look. He says,have you croissants? Yup...deffinitely foreign.Gay accent,and looking for croissants. Ive been working in the shop nearly 30yrs,and i can count the amount of folk that have ever asked for a croissant one one finger.I says no,and he just stares in disbelief.no croissants? Eh..no mate.Ive already said that.Im serving other customers and hes just standing..staring.I suggest he might like a couple of nice crispy mortons rolls.The look in his face was priceless. People eat this? Yes..they are very tasty...toast them and put a bit of butter on them. He just looked at them and went no thanks. Poncy git. Be safe,and keep smiling troops!
