Morning Ron VW here. Apparently no one said no when asked to contribute a song to a Paul McCartney tribute album, so it contains 43 covers. Even Bob Dylan who almost never does this sort of thing said yes. The project took so long Cat Stevens had time to change his name to Yusuf! He covered The Long & Winding Road. Some of this sounds like it might be cool but I’m not sure why Alice Cooper gets 2 songs. (I’m not really sure why he gets one song) And does the world need to hear Steve Miller Band sing Hey Jude? Still there’s Willie Nelson, Chrissie Hynde, Brian Wilson and B. B. King. The album comes out this Tuesday.
