Morning Tamworth, were waking up to a partly cloudy day, overnight we had a low of 16.9°, after a high of 33° yesterday. Today- Partly cloudy heading for a top of 31-32°, with a medium chance of showers or storms, mainly on the slopes & ranges in the afternoon, near a zero chance on the Plains. Winds SE/SW 15-20 km/h tending NW/SW 15-25 km/h in the middle of the day then tending E/SE 20-30 km/h in the late afternoon. BoMs rain chance 60% of 1-5mm. Tuesday- Partly cloud with a medium chance of afternoon showers & storms on the Slopes a slight chance on the plains. Winds NE/SE 20-30 km/h tending N/NE 15-20 km/h in the middle of the day then tending E/NE 20-30 km/h in the late afternoon. Temps 17/31. BoMs rain chance 80% of 1-5mm. Wednesday- Cloudy with high chance of showers & storms becoming more widespread across the Slopes & Plains. Winds NE 20-30 km/h. Temps 17/28° BoMs rain chance 80% of 1-5mm. Across the slopes today theres a chance we will see the odd shower or storm rolling in this afternoon, the Plains will remain dry & hot with temps around 36°. The tablelands has a 80% chance of showers & storm about today. Temps along the ranges 26°, low 30s west of the ranges. Looking further into the week storms & showers are going to hang around into the weekend, not a lot of rain each day only up to 5-10mm. Depending on the storm activity we could see anything from 25-50mm over the week, as we have a low pressure trough that will deepen over Wed-Thurs being fed by winds from the Tasman sea. Have a great day.~Dave. Image 1 probs map yellow=storms possible, orange=storms likely. Image 2 Lifted index. Image 3 WATL 8 day predicted rainfall.
