Morning Update for Zorro: Sorry for the delay. Had to wait for the surgeon to call me. :-) Called at 9:30PM last night to check on him before I went to bed and he was doing well. Called at 6:30AM to check on him and he did well throughout the night. Surgeon just called. Said Z is doing great. Everything looks good. Heart, lungs, pulse etc... sound good. No fever. He went for a wee wee walk 2x last night. He did have one regurgitation this morning after I had called to check in. Dr. Hanson said at this point he is not too worried about it, he expects that his intestinal motility is slow due to lack of food moving through it since Sunday. They will monitor it and if need be medicate specifically to treat the regurgitation, which is apparently totally different than vomiting. Later today they will begin trying to feed him and see how it goes. All good news thus far all things considered. Hoping to schedule a visit with him this afternoon if time permits as it is only a surgical center and there are other animals needing/scheduled for surgeries today as Z did yesterday. :-)
