Morning! Well Im just reflecting on the end of the transfer window. Although Im pleased with Welbeck, young, dynamic, English (joining Gibbs, Walcott, The Ox, Wilshire and now a very impressive Chambers) we lost the Premiership last year by conceding a shed load of goals away to Man City, Chelsea and Liverpool. So, although Chambers has been an excellent acquisition, Im dumbfounded that weve bought anyone to improve our holding midfielder and defence. I can just see Flamini suspended, Arteta injured and then what? All of the summer, journalists and fans have been urging Wenger to buy that specialised holding midfielder, and to replace TV5. Everybody can see it except the people that matter. Is AW relying on the splintered legs of Diaby to jump to our rescue, or is he relying on a huge defensive improvement, which having watched Leicester hit us so effectively on the break at the weekend, the same as last year, Im astounded. Anyway, theres always January now. Stunned!
