Morning Worship Message: When God Speaks; Listen Genesis 12:1. Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy fathers house, unto a land that I will shew thee: As we acknowledge the faith, and obedience of Abraham, we must not overlook the fact that he was a good listener. Where often times Gods voice is ignored, our Father of Faith carefully heard the directions of the Lord. Though he did not grasp the full purpose or the intent of the directions, he listened, obeyed, and was blessed. God speaks through His written Word, and through His Spirit. He at times speaks directly to us, other times through others. Regardless of how, when the Lord speaks to you listen carefully. You will not be able to obey except you first know what is being said.
