Morning all - hope the southern storm isnt disrupting too many plans for everyone :-( We are thrilled to now have over 300 members of this group, so a very warm welcome to all those who have joined over the weekend! We thought it might be an idea to just explain again what we do here... This page is mainly to support the UK leg of the Light of Day tour, which happens late November/early December each year. Were assuming, as youve liked the page, that youre aware of the main LOD event over in New Jersey each year. This year we have 4 UK shows in Glasgow (29th Nov), North Wales (30th Nov), Leicester (1st Dec) & London (3rd Dec). The UK shows feature a selection of musicians mainly from NJ/NYC who have supported LOD over the years, and then usually some local UK-based musicians too. All the musicians give their time for free and we try to cover as much of the travel costs as possible with sponsorship, so as much money as possible goes back into the charity to help with the research. Well keep you up to date with LOD New Jersey news, and also info about LOD shows in other countries. We also pass on news and info about the many wonderful musicians who have supported LOD over the years because we know many of you love to hear about them, buy their music and see their shows. This will include the odd bit of Bruce news - but were not a Bruce news site - there are plenty of them out there :-) We hope you enjoy being part of our community of fans and that well see you out at one of this years UK shows!
