Morning all- Informative status update and apologies for the length but a wider audience needs reaching so read on. A lot of people have been asking for information on The L6ve Life rugby league tournament so I wanted to clarify a few things. Most of the information is on the group thats been set up but for those of you who are still unsure, here goes: The tournament is open to over 35s and will take place at Eastside- home of Skirlaugh RLFC on the 11th October 2014. Its 7-a side, 10 minutes each way, with squads of 12 and above. Each player will pay £20.00 to enter, within this fee, each player will get a meal provided by Eastside. We are expecting a minimum of 20 teams, therefore we are adopting a 4 league system played on 4 pitches. The winner of group A will play the winner of group B, and the same with groups C & D, The winners of each semi will play in the final. The winners will receive the L6ve Life trophy and medals which have been sponsored also. Sponsorship packages are nearly all taken- Each pitch will have a main sponsor, there is one package left at £500.00. Each League will have a sponsor, there are 2 packages left at £300.00. Unfortunately all ball sponsor and programme sponsorship packages are now filled As you can imagine, we have all sorts to organise, so were asking for each squad to appoint a captain/ representative to organise his own squad/ kit/ etc and also to make sure that your players turn up after a night down Prinny Ave! If you are looking for kits, 3V have come up with an offer (please see photo on the group), whereby you can come up with a design for your team and they will make a contribution to the charity and its a quick turnaround- If youve already sourced your kit elsewhere thats fine We are looking for raffle prizes and also auction prizes for the day so anything that you feel suitable and would like to donate would be massively appreciated.
