Morning all... Deep low that developed has passed to the north of Scotland with some exceptional wind gusts. Bealach na Bà - 112 mph Loch Glascarnoch - 111 mph Great Dun Fell - 107 mph Aonach Mòr - 106 mph Stornoway - 106 mph Glen Ogle - 103 mph Altnaharra - 97 mph Wick - 93 mph Aultbea - 89 mph South Uist Range - 89 mph Radar shows showery conditions across northern areas otherwise a lot of areas start Friday dry. However, note on satellite imagery the mass of cloud to the west, this is the next developing low pressure that will bring further wet and windy weather today. Note however that the low pressure tonight will not be as severe as the one that has just been overnight.
