Morning all :) My thoughts this morning revolve around this weeks cold plunge and its effects locally. Despite the colder air it should still feel quite pleasant if you can escape the wind and showers, like happened here yesterday. However, Southern England may see enough convective forcing this afternoon to promote some big showers. These should be scattered but there is a small risk of thunder. The shower risk this week will be a bit difficult to pin down but the next 2 days look like possibilities. Then there is the other concern which is overnight minima. As the wind dies down later in the week, clear skies could give some unseasonal cold nights. My current thinking is that Wednesday night could see a minimum of 5c 41f which rarely happens in August at my location but Ill keep you posted on that. Meanwhile, as Lee has mentioned, it really is cold in Scotland with snow expected in the mountains (brrr!). Whatever, have a good day :)
