Morning all, hope everyone is doing well. I havent posted on here for a good while but Im hoping one of you lovely peeps might be able to give me a bit of insight before I go to my doc with my strange tale of woe! I have been having weekly vs for 12 months and am now at a level of around 800. I have suffered severe joint pain for ages and have had a series of steroid injections in my hips with success, 10 days ago I had an epidural and spinal nerve block and lots of steroid injections into my spine also with success. A couple of days after having this my knees became excruciatingly painful, Im not exaggerating when I say I screamed out with every step. On Saturday I had steroid injections in both knees and began to feel some relief last night. I woke to horrible ankle pain at 6 this morning. I take strong pain meds but this particular type of pain doesnt respond to them. Am I going crazy thinking that whatever is causing this is chasing round my body? My rheumatologist, liver consultant and pain management consultant all agree the joint pain is related to HH as all scans and X-rays have been clear other then the iron and calcium deposits. I do have liver damage caused by the condition and know I am likely to develop cirrhosis over the next few years if the damage doesnt reverse but this cant be related can it? Anyway, thats my little tale, any ideas anyone?
