Morning all, morning from a port I love, Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The Carnival Breeze is docked here today and after a early morning rain shower on our arrival the Carnival Breeze is bathed in sunshine. I know some of you may not agree but for me Ocho Rios is a port full of vibrant life and astonishing beauty. Close to wear our ships’ dock in Ocho Rios is The Jerk Center, it looks like a circle of huts with a big hole in the middle and that’s because ……………..it is a circle of huts with a big hole in the middle. It is not a five-star restaurant. There is no silver service. This though is the place to eat jerk chicken and jerk pork. It is very tourist friendly and the people who own it have been serving our passengers for many years. It may look slightly intimidating…….but really it is as friendly as a cocker spaniel puppy. The food is cheap and…..is absolutely brilliant. But unfortunately I won’t be having any as I intend to spend as much of today and tomorrow as I can answering questions here on Facebook. Yes, I am putting you before some jerk………………do you feel loved? The guests are having a wonderful time, I spoke to so many yesterday on our sea day and watched them too having fun, sun and enjoying brilliant service from our outstanding crew. This is the simple formula that makes Carnival Cruise Line the best vacation choice…………….in the world. We also have a special group of people who are here for what’s known as a site inspection. These are the organisers of the Tom Joyner Fantastic Voyage cruise and are here to discuss with the department heads what they will be doing on their charter cruise and with names like Earth Wind and Fire, Jennifer Hudson and many more entertaining the guests it sounds like this will be a superb time for all. We also have charters coming up with those Commanders of Ducks and something called Property Brothers, both of which are also generating lots of excitement. So go ask Uncle Google all about them and sail with the stars. Also coming up New Kids On The Block, The Backstreet Boys and much more. I would like to charter a ship and have a throw back cruise, say 1990, take a Carnival Capers from then and do everything we did back in 1990……….oh and a Megan Fox charter too. OK, away from my realms of fantasy it’s time to crack on with your questions. I just started with Debra Barnett’s question. I know many of you will have to re-post so my apologies for that and my thanks to the wonderfully helpful people who have sent me your requests these past few days.
