Morning by morning new mercies I see... Precious one, today I remember a question which I asked one day whiles leading a Bible Class; On what is your Faith built? Amazing question rite! Believe me or not, many Christians today cant tell the basis of the Faith they profess! Apostle Paul taughts the Church in Corinth in the 2nd chapter of his 1st letter That your Faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God... Friends, in the church today most people have the basis of their faith in the wisdom and power of the Pastor bcos instead of the Pastor teaching about the Power of God he is busy using his wisdom and power so that members can build their faith in him as powerful. Paul said I speak not with enticing words of mens wisdom but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power! The danger here is that, that Christian cannot stand the test of time since the foundation is weak. Hmmmm, today Evangelism has become advertisment and instead of peaching the Power of God to win souls for the Kingdom, we find sweet words and means to win souls for our Church. Its hard to say We are nurturing Church members and not Kingdom candidates! Stay blessed, connected and Christian friend assess the basis of your FAITH and preacher pls project Christ and His Power and not your wisdom and Church... IT IS WELL
