Morning folks, take care again this morning, blowing a hoolie out there. Ive removed my post from last night as it seemed to have upset a few elderly people who accused me of taking the P out of the older generation. The only person i take the P out of on this site is myself. Ive bared my heart and soul aye and my arse as well uon this site, yet people who never, ever post just sit and read everything that comes on and then send me a message, not public , to tell me what i am. This is a site for people and photos of an area of the East End of Greenock, i dont take myself serious and neither does Bernie, but we can be when its required. The good folk who contribute regularly are the same, but when theres something goes wrong they circle the wagons and help each other out. When this certain person told me what they thought i said fair enough and removed the post, something niggled at me. Then the light bulb came on and i did a bit of Admin research and guess what, a relative of this person had a post removed over a year ago for a piece of blatant advertising. Now i wonder eh. Advertising for financial gain is not permitted according to the site rules. There are plenty of advertising sites on F B ,but this isnt one. Fair enough if you have a fund raiser for charities, like Ardgowan or McMillan thats different. If you want to raise awareness for a good cause thats fine, otherwise Admin have the right to remove the post. A wee P.M to ourselves first always helps because there are ways of promoting things without blatant advertising....Rant over, be safe .
