Morning friends. Every little thing we do can build or destroy - TopicsExpress

Morning friends. Every little thing we do can build or destroy the trust that people have in us. If we need people to trust us we need to be vigilant. We cannot allow little mistakes to break the trust that people have in us. For instance, I came to learn of a story. I do not know the name of the person. There was a person that worked for a big wholesale business. One day the phone rang. The owner told the person to tell the person on the line that he is not there. The person picked us the receiver and gave it to the owner with this words: You tell him you are not here. The owner was very upset and after the phone call wanted to discipline the employee. And the employee explain his action like this. He said: If I can lie for you, I can also lie to you, and I am not prepare to do any. He became the most trustworthy employee of that company, and has worked there for years. This employee very quickly established trustworthiness, but it does not always go that quick. It can take years for people to become trustworthy in other peoples eyes, and the smallest little thing can break the trust that you have worked so hard to build. You really need to work heard to build trust. Same with religion. You cannot just talk to strangers about your faith. You need to build a relationship with them. Take your time to get to know the person. Take your time to get to know the things that is of concern for the person in question. And when you have done it then you can start talking to that person about faith. Remember that our faith is a great gift and no one will believe that you just want to give away a gift like that without knowing that person. God really does not care about the fact that you know the person or not, but the people do. God will give you the right time to give away the gift. He will lay it in your heart and then you need to follow. Dont be afraid. You need to determine when you are trusted. In Jesus I trust. Many people have a problem with trusting Jesus as well because nothing happen in their lives. But that is just totally wrong. Because we can not get bigger trust that a person that gave away his/her life for someone. Jesus did. He died so that you may have life in abundance. He died so that we may not be sick. He died so that we dont have to suffer any more. He died so that we may have peace. He died so that we can be set free. So why then do you not trust Him? Why then do you say something like: Nothing good ever happen to me because Jesus is not on my side! Really, He died for you. What other sacrifice do you think He should have made? I know one thing He made the ultimate sacrifice and I feel that with that there is no way that I will not trust Him with my life, my health, my wealth because I know all these things are in the best possible hands. It is in the mighty hands of the one and only God, Jesus Christ. Amen.
