Morning my freaks and friends, Sunny crisp day out there for us to enjoy today. Cricket is sleeping off his birthday dinner in shifts it appears. He sleeps for a bit, gets up and plays and eats more, then crashes for a few more hours of shut eye. Eating roast beef really tires him out! LOL. Not a lot on the books for today according to my list. Phoned everyone yesterday that I needed to contact to get my deposits back, so I just need to make the rounds or get someone to make them for me to get the money back. This is not as much of a big issue as you would imagine. As long as you cancel no later than 2 weeks before the event you get a 100% refund. Packing the gift bags is a bigger issue that picking up the deposits from a restructured event. Glad I am no longer responsible for packing the goodie bags, and I am very excited to attend and see what has been put together for us girls to enjoy, laugh about, and bring home to show our friends and family. Little keepsakes to remember our friends exciting, special day ahead, how exciting. Wayne popped over a few days this week and helped me clarify some decorating/furniture use ideas so I have been moving stuff around here at the house. Well, not me, others with muscles do the actual moving of the stuff, I just figure out where I want it! Lots of leftover roast from yesterday so dinner is a slam dunk tonight. Some days I am more open to different meals while others I just want meat, potatoes, vegetables, and gravy! Cricket prefers meat and carrots, but I like to mix it up a little for him as he needs a balanced diet as much as I do. Only thing I really should do, but do not need to do, is grab my dads female friend a birthday card. He bought her and other than warranty cards you do not normally send possessions or things you own cards but times they are a changing. The amount that things have changed over the years baffles me really. In the past dad paid for his women, he just never brought them home, now he buys them and moves in with them, full service . . . . LOL! Funny how life changes direction and you dont even know it has until you are on the round-about! Got to get a few small chores done so Ill TTYL. Stand tall and stay safe. Peace out.
