Morning studies... A male and female of each kind entered, just - TopicsExpress

Morning studies... A male and female of each kind entered, just as God had commanded Noah. Then the LORD closed the door behind them. (Genesis 7:16 NLT) Crazy I know but my early morning internal alarm went off this morning at about 0330 and I was wide awake... I though what better time to do my studies right... Oddly enough, thats all it took and by 0400 I was fast asleep again. When I woke up again, this verse and that study, was the FIRST thing that came to mind... So I had to go back and reread it. Im always amazed how God directs me to what Im supposed to see... I had this vision in my head of Jesus standing there at the ark, holding a massive door open, and just smiling as males and females of all kinds entered. And once everyone that was called was safely inside, He sealed the door shut! No gaps, no leaks, no way that door was opening until He was ready for it to... Its such a blessing that Jesus is very much in the door closing business today. Once we realize He has opened a door, if we can just muster the courage to walk through, it will lead to amazing, fresh, new adventures! It takes a lot of trust, we have to wait until he has everything prepared on the other side of the door before He opens it... But always know that Hes working. Ive always had this perception that the flood lasted forty days and nights, then everything dried up and everyone left the ark to start a new... Not the case! The Lord sealed that door and every living thing on that ship waited about a year for the grounds to be ready! A YEAR! Noah was now 601 years old. On the first day of the new year, ten and a half months after the flood began, the floodwaters had almost dried up from the earth. Noah lifted back the covering of the boat and saw that the surface of the ground was drying. Two more months went by, and at last the earth was dry! Then God said to Noah, “Leave the boat, all of you—you and your wife, and your sons and their wives. Release all the animals—the birds, the livestock, and the small animals that scurry along the ground—so they can be fruitful and multiply throughout the earth.” (Genesis 8:13-17 NLT) Here comes the hardcore, honest part.... Ive had a REALLY CRAPPY several years... But this morning, I finally feel as if God has opened the door on my lifeboat and its time to set out and seriously begin anew... Its like theres a fresh new world out there full of opportunity, just waiting to be explored... LETS GO!!! LEAVE THE BOAT! ❤️😃
